Roller shutters roll up into a top box and are usually fitted externally. Shutters are most commonly used in the retail and industrial environment.
One downside of the roller shutter is the requirement for planning permission. However, they can also be fitted internally.
Vehicle barriers and bollards can be used in driveways and car park spaces. They can be fixed or removable posts or even remote controlled rising bollards depending on the level of risk assessed.
